FEBRUARY
"SELF-AWARNESS"
Achieving your goals is hard enough. Don't let a lack of Self-Awareness slow down your progress. When you are unwilling to see yourself as you are - shortcomings and all - you set yourself up to fall victim to those exact shortcomings. Develop your ability to be real with yourself and get TF out of your own way, Cutie!
*Our four areas of focus this month will be in these areas of development:
-
Week 1 - Self-Care 101
-
Week 2 - Finances 101
-
Week 3 - Emotional IQ
-
Week 4 - Accountability 101
Self-Care 101
How much downtime do you need to ensure you're refreshed and ready to go when it's time to GO? Do you need 2 pedicures a month or 3? How many hours in your schedule do you need to dedicate to yourself? Finding the answers to these questions is a great way to practice "self-awareness."
Finances 101
Spending money is fun...but it's SO MUCH MORE fun when you spend wisely. Being aware of your spending/saving habits as well as the ideas that you've learned over the years about money will help you provide an ENTIRELY new level of financial security & freedom for yourself.
Emotional Intelligence 101
You don't need to "control" your emotions in order to feel like you are being aware of them. Most times, it's just about "feeling" them and learning from them. It takes courage to feel your feelings because not all of them actually "feel" good. This month, try your best to simply acknowledge what you are feeling. That is a good place to start.
Accountability 101
When you become aware of your own bullshit AND make meaningful change as a result, you are practicing accountability. Make this a normal thing and watch how your life changes for the better.

HEALING
101

OPTION ONE:
RADICAL ACCEPTANCE
"F*ck it." The Radical Acceptance battle cry. There's humor to the moment that only the person saying it can attest to. Because what are you actually saying 'F*ck it' to? An overbearing parent? A judgmental sibling? A jealous former friend? Who are we saying 'F*ck It' to and why is that so funny sometimes? Who knows. But what we do know is that it's not uncommon for people to find humor in that moment.
EMOTIONAL GANGSTA TRAINING:
RADICAL ACCEPTANCE IS THE SAME AS 'KEEPING IT RAW.' WHEN YOU CAN ACCEPT THINGS FOR WHAT THEY ARE WITHOUT JUDGEMENT, YOU ARE 'KEEPING IT RAW.'
OPTION TWO:
IMPROVISE
Improvisation is a great tool for comedy. It's an excellent exercise in radical acceptance and it requires you fully rely on your instincts. It's a refreshing exercise in trusting yourself. Improvisation is a slick way to add more laughs to your day. Do you normally eat cereal for breakfast? Improv and have dinner for breakfast. Are you used to watching scary movies at night? Watch one before you go to work. Sure you might be spooked but it'll make for great conversation at work and you'll get a deep dive into your psyche which will make for more great improv moments in the future...if you dare! Scaring yourself can be a fun and funny experience so dig in, Cutie!

EMOTIONAL GANGSTA TRAINING:
IMPROVISATION IS THE SAME AS 'KEEPING IT REAL.' WHEN YOU CAN IMPROV YOUR WAY THROUGH THE TWISTS AND TURNS OF LIFE AND GET A CHUCKLE OUT OF IT ALONG THE WAY, YOU ARE 'KEEPING IT REAL.'

OPTION THREE:
QUALITY
TIME ALONE
Heavy on the 'quality' part. Spend time affirming yourself AND your sense of humor. Watch your favorite comedies. Research new comedians. Listen to crank calls. Dig deep into your humor bag and enhance your mood on-demand no matter what life throws at you.
EMOTIONAL GANGSTA TRAINING:
SPENDING QUALITY TIME ALONE IS THE SAME AS 'KEEPING IT RARE.' WHEN YOU PRACTICE SELF-CARE THROUGH PURPOSELY CONSUMING MEDIA THAT VALIDATES YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR, YOU ARE 'KEEPING IT RARE.'

THE TEST
REAL
Can you be REAL with yourself and embrace the inherent humor found in improvisation?
RAW
Can you be RAW with yourself and accept the world around you for what it is without judgement?
RARE
Can you be RARE with yourself and practice self-care by consuming media that affirms and validates your authentic sense of humor?

APPLICATION
You should DEFINITELY apply some of your Clap Back skills in the Cutie Chat! Respectfully though because we don't do disrespect BUT we believe that iron sharpens iron! The Cutie Chat is a great place to do just that so PULL UP!!
